Utility to save / restore desktop icons ( which ones / positions)

Have tried RestoreDesktop but that launches constant alerts from Spysweeper
as well as from MS Antispy ( almost each time I copy / move files even from
"simple" folders !)

TIA !

Iconoid

Overview:

Iconoid is a Windows desktop icon manager. Iconoid hides and shows the
icons when you need them. Iconoid insures that when you restore icon
positions, the saved positions do not overlay other icons. Iconoid goes
to great lengths to insure that all Icons are visible when you restore
Icon positions. Iconoid can be completely hidden or live in the system
tray. Iconoid is customizable. For example: you can decide what options
appear in the tray popup so that you don't have to see a cluttered list
of items you don't use. Iconoid can determine the optimal text
background color whenever the wallpaper changes, automatically. Iconoid
comes with complete source. Features: * Make icon backgrounds
transparent * Select any color for icon backgrounds * Save and Restore
Icon positions for each (or every) screen resolution * Select any color
for icon text * Automatically or manually select the best color for the
text background * Dynamically hide icons when you don't need them and
show them when you do * Quickly minimize all windows so that you can
see your desktop wallpaper.
