I just purchased a used Umax Transparency Adaptor Model UTA-2A for
scanning large negatives. After about five scans of "negatives",in the
negative mode, the images looked like they were being scanned in
halftones and then the images became brighter and brigher until no image
appeared, just a white blank area where the scan should have
displayed...... It still works in the "transparency" mode. Does anyone
know what the problem is? I would think an electrical component in the
UTA probably burned out.
I can still make use of the scanner if I had a "utility" that would
convert a "positive" to a "negative". Is there any utility
avalible?...... Thanks.........
