USP Ports

I have a Dell 4300 computer running XP Pro. It has 6 1.1 USB ports.
Can I add a USB 2.0 adapter for additional USB ports or will I have to
disable the USB 1.1 ports in order to get the 2.0?

you need to add a USB card, most have 4-5 ports. You
cannot up-grade what you have unless like the ones on the
front can sometimes be up-plugged from the MOBO and
hooked to the new card.

you can buy the card for $19 -$25

You can try with the 1.1 ports enabled, but you may have to disable
them.
