Using XP uninstall

I have a couple programs I wish to uninstall. One is Outlook hotBar. When I load the XP uninstall program and highlight the Outlook hotBar program and click on uninstall/change nothing happens. I've allowed the computor to just sit there for several hours but nothing happens.
