Using XP on Windows NT network

I have a laptop purchased for work that I cannot get to
work on the office network. The laptop has XP Home
installed on it and the office network runs Windows NT.
When I hook up the laptop I can use the internet and see
my computer on the network but I cannot access any of the
files on the network. What do I need to do to make this
work?

I believe you need XP Pro if your office has an NT Domain.
