I would like to setup a small home network of 6 computers and I would like to
use Windows XP Home on the "file server". 5 other computers will access the
shared data on this computer. Are there any limitations to the number of
computers that can access a Windows XP Home computer simultaneously? If so,
will Windows XP Pro resolve those issues? I am currently using Windows 2000
server, but I don't need the security or want to deal with the overhead that
this product requires.
Additionally, are there any other limitations I should consider? My needs
are simple. This is for a family. Basic file access, music and pictures.
Thanks, Nick
