Using XP and 98 and can't share files

I just got a new XP box and have added a Belkin 4-port
cable router so I could share the files from the old to
new and use it to back up and such.

Both machines are working on the interenet, but can't
seem to find the Win-98 on the net to share files.

Not sure where to turn to get this working.
