Using Word as email editor

I have recieved an email with an email attached. Using MS Word as my editor I open the attached email. I am unable to send that email using MS Word as my editor. If I just use Outlook, I am able to forward it. Is there a work around or a setting that need to be done for me to send this email without changing my editor?
 
Are you opening the attached mail from the preview pane in Outlook? If yes,
try opening the message, then save the attached mail and THEN try to send
it. Does this work? If yes, it may have to do with attachments opened from
the preview pane being Read-Only.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
