using windows mail

i currently have several email accounts. I am hoping that using windows mail
will solve my problems. When I get email from my different accounts or when
I send an email will I be able to designate which account I want to send it
from. Also will I be able to set it up so that I can get verification on
whether or not an email reached it's intended destination?

Yes, you can select which account to send from.

As to verification of arrival, there are several aspects to this.
Most of the time you can assume that delivery to the recipient's
mail server was successful unless you receive an error message
(while sending), or a 'bounce' or non-delivery notice (after sending).
Taking this one step further, Windows Mail has an option to request
a 'read' receipt, meaning you want to be notified when the email is
opened by the recipient. In my experience, however, most recipients
either ignore the request or they have it disabled.
