Hi, i often use the internet to view my email, meaning i go to
login.yahoo.com and view my emails that way, but i recently started using my
Windows Mail program!

i was wondering if there was a way i can view my emails on both the my yahoo
website page and through windows mail, instead of getting it either way!

thanx

With my new Vista computer, I also chose to use Windows Mail and cannot get
mail on the web through the Comcast site. I'm wondering if we have to use a
web-based email program instead -- now that I've manually copied several
hundred email contacts into Windows Mail! (There was no way to electronically
copy them from my old computer and CompuServe....)

You can set WinMail to not delete the mail after downloading...

Tools - Accounts - your mail account - Properties - Advanced - Leave a copy
on the server

You may want to set the Remove from server after x days, to prevent your
mail account from filling up.

Thanx, i think that fixed it and thats what i was looking for!

appreciate the help!

I've read the thread, but I'm confused about what WinMail is. When I type in
"WinMail" in Windows Help and Support, it gives me all the info on Windows
Mail. When I search the 'net for "WinMail", however, I see there's a mail
server called Winmail. Is that the one someone referred to as what we should
access at our service provider??? Also, I can't create a New Thread - I keep
getting a message about a pop-up being blocked...Help!

This newsgroup is for Windows Vista Mail, so that is what we mean by
WinMail.

Instead of accessing these newsgroups via your browser, you can access them
from Windows Mail.
Microsoft Communities.
