Using Win XP again on different comp.

My sister tried to load Win XP on my computer but she was
unable to due to hardware issues. I wanted to know can she
use Win XP on her computer since I was unable to load it.

Did it get far enough to be activated? If not, MS doesn't even know the box
has been opened, and it wouldn't be a problem.

What is the hardware on the computer? Windows XP can be quite picky when it
comes to harware.
