I am working with a vision impaired client creating reports in design view.
Our problem is getting focus on the field list. We can open the field list
but are unable to make it the active object. Is there a way we can assign a
keystroke to tools such as the field list, e.g. properties is ALT + L

Thanks Duane

ALT+F6 works. I can place focus on the field list and then select field but
am unable to place the selected field on the report. I was using
SHIFT+ENTER but this is not working. Any suggestions.

I thought just pressing enter when the field had focus would place the field
on your report.

No Enter or Shift + Enter don't work.

It worked for me. I had to hit the down arrow to make sure a field was
selected.

It works for me in Access XP but not 2000. Thanks Duane. My student is
blind and relies on the keyboard. His machine has a screen reader (JAWS)
which also causes us a problem by overriding Windows commands. Thanks
again. Kathy
