Using the file upload component in FP 2002

When a web user submits a form and attaches a file, such as a photo,
using the file upload component, what is the default folder on the hosting
site's server does that file get uploaded to? I need to establish write
permissions from my hosting service. Any info will be very welcomed.

You set the folder name in the File Upload Dialog, and then when you publish the page to the remote
server via FP's http mode, FP will set the correct permission on the folder to allow the uploads.

In order to use this, you must be hosted on a Windows IIS server, have the FP extensions and the
host must allow you to use this component, some host do not allow this.

Thank you for the info. I'm very much a rookie here but eager to
learn. Yes, I am hosted on a Windows IIS server (www.myhosting.com) with FP
extensions running.
