Using text file to populate a drop down list?

Hi,

How can I use a text file (e.g. tab-separated entries) to populate a
drop-down list on my site? (using FrontPage 2003)

I have two drop-down lists on my top-level page, with direct links to pages
in my site (www.aaltenvoogd.com) The contents will change as I add more pages
to my site, so would be good to be able to maintain the contents of the drop
down list, e.g. through a text file, something like this:

Text file:
1->Paraguay->paraguay.htm
2->Uruguay->uruguay.htm
3->Vietnam->vietnam.htm
etc.

Thanks in advance,
Stefan

Erm... what's an include page? If at all possible, could you give me a
(generic) step-by-step explanation as to how to create one?

Thanks in advance,
Stefan

An include page is one that's "included" on other pages. Create a page with
the information that you want to be common on other pages and save it in a
folder on your web site. Then open the page(s) you want it to appear on and
choose, Insert, Web Component, Include , Page.

Now when you want to change the content on all pages you only need to open
that "included" page and make the change. These are good for common
headers, footers, menus etc

Here's a page that uses an include for the links you see on the left hand side:

Here's the include page that contains the links:

An include page is just a normal html page that is "included" by using Insert > Web Component > Included content > Page

All content between the <body> </body> tags is "included" on the pages that use it, whenever you save the include.
