Using templates

P

Pete

I have set up several templates and would like to know if its possible to
set one of them up as the default template so that each new email created is
based on that template.

Also, is it possible to specify a template to use when sending a document as
attachment out of another program?

New mail using the New mail button, no. It is easy to call up templates
though - if its just simple text, you can use a desktop (or quick launch)
shortcut to the template.

Are you using using the other programs File, Send menu or from Windows
Explorer's Send to menu? No on the first, yes on the second. See

All I would like to do is to change the font and size and to make the
paragraph markers go away. Can I make a default template for that? Also in
the current template, there are 2 spaces before the paragraph marker and when
I start typing, the text is indented 2 spaces which I have to remove by
editing later. How can I get rid of that?
Thanx.

Press CtrL+Shift+8 to toggle the para markers off and on.

You can use a template to select specific fonts but it only applies to the
template, not to replies or other messages. That can be changed in tools,
options, mail format, stationery and fonts. I'm not sure about the
2-spaces - unless it’s from the signature.
