Using Subtotals in Other Sheets

Having created subtotals of data, I'd like to be able to copy and paste just
those subtotals to use then for other analysis in another sheet. Is there a
way to do that without bringing over all the lines of data which make up the
subtotals? I find I need to do this often enough to ask someone how to do it
once and for all (if it can be done without going line by line). It would be
nice to be able to just copy and paste as text or values to then use just
those subtotals.

Thanks,
Mike

Select the range, then press F5, click special and select visible cells
only, click OK and copy and paste

You can copy just the subtotal rows and then use
Edit > Paste Special > Values

Have you tried this? Is there a problem?

Stephen,

No good - it brings it all over. Peo there answered it though if you're
curious.

Thanks anyway,
Mike
