using powerpoint color scheme in embedded Excel objects

When I paste an excel worksheet into a Powerpoint slide with a custom color
scheme, I would like the excel font to match that in powerpoint. When I edit
the spreadsheet there is no matching font color. Is there a simple way to
apply the ppt color scheme to an embedded excel object?

If you know the color code(RGB) of the font color of your presentation (you
can check out the setting in color schemes), double click on the excel
worksheet, then, click tools > options.
Go to Colors, and click modify. Choose Custom and modify the RGB code.

Select the embedded worksheet on the slide, and choose "recolor" on the
Picture toolbar (View|Toolbars|Picture). Change the text color there. This
is especially helpful because it allows you to see the text in Excel as
usual and then recolor in PPT as desired.
