Using Paint in Powerpoint 2000

Hi,

I accidentally deleted some files when cleanning up
the disk space now I can't use Paint as an object in
Powerpoint 2000. I still have mspaint.exe in system32 and
can run it. How do I restore the function in Powerpoint
2000? The error message said to reinstall the
application, I guess, it's mspaint, but it's not been
deleted......Help!!! Thanks!
