Using Outlook in a novel Environment

We currently use a novel mail server. IT support have requested that we use
groupwise. I have configured Outlook 2003 to work using the POP & SMTP
setting. It seemed to work well initially, but recently I have been
receiving OLD mail.(Mail I received 1 to 2 months back) as well as multiple
mail (If anybody sends me 1 mail, I receive it multiple times)
I have been told that there is a patch to fix this. Please could somebody
refer me to site where I would be able to download this patch.

I don't know what patch you are talking about. Ran Office Update already and
installed all available patches?
