Using OpenType Fonts on other computers

Hi,

I have a presentation set up using the Myriad Font. However, PowerPoint
could not embed OpenType fonts so how am I gonna use it when I edit/present
my slide on another machine. I tried installing the Myriad Font on the remote
computer, but the machines was locked down (it's a college worksation,
running Win XP Pro).

You'd need to choose a font that's embeddable legally to begin with and in a
format that PPT *can* embed, meaning TrueType.

Even if you could install Myriad on another computer, it probably isn't legal to
do so unless you've purchased multiple licenses for the font.

One possible option: though you can't embed Myriad in a PPT file, you can embed
it in a PDF. If your presentation will work in PDF format, that might be a
reasonable approach.
