Using MORE memory

I would like to force a particular process to have more memory than Windows allocates to it. I can see from the task manager that there is always at least 100MB not being used, so there is memory to apply. How do I apply it?

If there is RAM free, Windows will give a process
whatever RAM it asks for.

If you see RAM not being used, no process has asked for
it, and therefore they don't need it.

"Forcing" it (if possible) wouldn't help a thing, because
the process doesn't want or need that extra RAM.
