Dan Schwarz

Users can enter normally enter 1-2 leads using crm through their web
browsers. Then after that the following error comes up. (see evnet views
below)

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923762
The error is documented by Microsoft, and we have verified the hot fix
918899 is installed. We have re-installed the hot fix and the problem still
occurs. We have tried the Workaround solution as well.

DEP protection is turned off.

No recent hardware or 3rd party software changes have been made. Users
machines have automatic updates turned on.

Hi Dan,

Sorry to ask you but I could not discern the Windows and IE versions from
the error report as I am not currently running XP SP2 with IE6 on any of my
machines to compare the versions of IE.

It looks like IE SP2 for XP and the error is occuring in mshtml.dll.

The mshtml modules in IE6 SP1 and IE6 SP2 are different versions. You can
test this yourself if you have a IE6 SP1 machine (Win2K).

So it looks like the MS patches and workarounds are for SP1 only, though I
cannot confirm this. The MS public newsgroups are supported by non MS
employees, but we do know they do occasionally view the posts, so someone
with more expertise may be able to advise you.
In the mean time you may like to contact your local MS service
representitive or MS Product Partner for a more official response.

Regards.
