Using local Group Policy for Windows XP

Jim

Windows XP client was able to use MMC to replace/edit
files for the root group policy.

However, the client is not able to view or edit any other
Group Policies on the Windows 2000 domain server(client
has admin rights on server). To add a GPO the MMC only
gives the option of viewing a computer object.

I am now able to see a Computer Configuation GPO(presume
this is the one that I was able view and edit), but no
User Configuration GPO when using 'gpresult' from the
command line.

Am following instructions from the following URL to setup
GPO on client.

Thanks,

Wasn't logged into domain. Once logged into domain, Group
Policy down the hierarchy was visible.
