Using Hyperlinks to Access Outlook Folders and Items

I know that I can create a hyperlink to a message in my Inbox by using the
following protocol, for example.

Outlook:Inbox/folder name/~message name

The problem is that I have a second inbox (a common mailbox) and that's the
one I want to link to. What is the protocol for linking to the other mailbox?

Much thanks!

You would need to specify the full path to the other mailbox, including the top-level (root) folder.

Follow-up question:

The name of the mailbox includes a front slash (i.e. the name of the mailbox
is AB/DGA). Consequently, naming the path to the mailbox causes errors (it
reads like I'm naming mailbox "AB" and folder "DGA"). Unfortunately, I cannot
change the name of the mailbox because of the naming convention in use. Is
there a way around this?

Thanks again!
