Using Horm

I built my first ewf + Horm image last night. Huge improvement in boot
speeds (2.5 minutes to 11 seconds). I have a few questions regarding Horm.
XPE SP2 FP2007

1) 50% of the time Horm works fine, the other 50% of the time I get the BSOD
Stop 4F. It says something about a thread/service is running and is not
complete yet...? The system boots fine from the hibernate file, loads the
application, then 10 or 20 seconds later I get the BSOD. Other times it's
pretty instant, as soon as the Resuming Windows is finished, it BSOD's on me
before the shell shows. I have no clue what this is all about a goggle did
not reveal much.

2) Sometimes when trying to create a new hibernation point,
xpepm -hibernate returns with "A running thread or application is not
allowing this"

3) I need to create an entry point (Hibernation point) right after my
custom shell is complete but right before my shell automatically launches my
application. How would one do this, insert a delay between these two items
then try to sneak in a hibernate?

4) How can one create a new hibernate file so that the cmd window and
hibernate command is not showing when the system comes back up? I installed
a custom button on my custom shell which in turn runs the xpepm -hibernate
command and seems to have addressed this. Just curious how others are doing
it?

5) If changes need to be written to disk, what is the proper way to do
this? ewfmgr c: - commit or committing and creating a new hibernate file,
or just hibernating afterwards?

I appreciate any help. I did not see any answers for some of these items.
I'm sure someone has ran across solutions for these.

Take a look at the Ardence ReadyOn product. ReadyOn provides a easily
configurable interface that would allow you to do exactly what you are
trying to do with the launch of an application. In fact, you can configure
ReadyOn to launch the app for you when it resumes.

Here is the link to the ReadyOn info.

Being that FP2007 has much of this built in, ReadOn is priced out of reach.
Looks like we will end up writing our own service that handles all these
items. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something very obvious.
