I want to specify the none background option using group
policiy. I can not seem to figure this out because there
is no bitmap or jpg file for none. I know in Windows
2000 it is the default, but I really want to do this for
XP clients. I did not see a group policy group under
windows XP.

Thanks

Hello John.

To configure the users to have no desktop wallpaper, simply enable the
following in group policy:
- Enable Active Desktop
- Active Desktop Wallpaper -- leave the "Wallpaper Name" option blank.

When the users logon to the system, they will have no background wallpaper
and will be unable to change it.

I tried this but my XP clients still get the default
background.
