USING AUTOCAD 2000i WITH WINDOWS XP

WHILE RUNNING WINDOWS XP I'M HAVING THE PROBLEM WITH THE
VIEW OF THE OPEN MENU IN AUTOCAD 2000i, IT ALWAYS RETURNS
TO DEFAULT VIEW (ICONS) WHEN I WANT IT IN LIST VIEW
ALWAYS IS THERE ANYWAY TO CHANGE THIS???
