Hi folks,

I have a clipart TV on a slide. when I press the TV on switch I would like
a film clip to play on the TV (I have inserted a film and resized it so it
fits the TV Screen). does anyone know how to do this? At the moment if I
set the action button to run a file it opens the file outside of the slide.
Ho Hum.

Thanks

Danny

Hi Danny,

Which version of PowerPoint do you use? In PPT 2002 or 2003 you could use
trigger animations for this. Have a look at Kathy's page to see how it is
done: http://www.powerpointanswers.com/article1056.html

Kind regards,
Ute

Thanks Ute,

This brings the film clip in, fair enough, but does not start the clip. To
start the clip I have to click on it...am I missing something?

Thanks,

Danny

Set the animation for the movie to "play." (Add Effect/Movie Actions on the
custom animation task pane.)
