Using a distribution list

I have created a distribution list with my contacts. Now I want to send an
email using it. If I select the distribution list and put it in the'To:'
box, will all the recipients be able to see eachothers email addresses? Would
I need to put the distribution list in the 'bcc' box? I'd like to confrim
this before sending out and potentially exposing all my customer's email
addresses to the world.
