Using 64-bit IE to open Favorites?

I have Vista x64 installed. When I click on a link in the Favorites folder,
the 32-bit version of IE opens. IE is set as the default browser, but
there's no option to choose 64-bit as default.

Is there any way to let Favorites open the 64-bit browser?

Just to add, if I open the 64-bit browser first, then select a link from the
Favorites list within IE, it uses 64-bit. It's only when I open a link
directly from Favorites (such as on the Start menu/Favorites fodler).

Should be able to toggle or select which version by using the
"Properties" dialog for that particular menu entry. Not on my windows
system right now and so can't give you any specifics but look in "Start
- Control Panel" for the "Start Menu" icon. IIRC, you should be able to
change it from there.

Also you can try the following url:

http://support.microsoft.com/

Type in key words pertaining to your area of interest in the search
field.....a dropdown menu will appear offering specific areas it will do
a search on....select the relevent one.
