I have several programs loaded on the system that I don't want my kids to
have access to. Yahoo and MSN Messenger to be exact. However, when I go
into their logons I see they have access to them. Is there any way I can
stop the kids from accessing those programs without hurting my wife and I
getting into those programs.

How about preventing them from knowing the username and password from accessing the internet. This can prevent that

But if you have to grant access to the browser then you will have to go for drastic measures
