users use administrator account?

I work for a company and all the users log in as admin.
The programmer here said they tried to change it before
but had problems. Anyways he didn't remember what they
were. My Boss wants me to have all users have their own
accounts. Which sounds easy enough. But I know that they
are going to lose their profiles. So I guess my question
is, is there any way to retain a profile or copy it. Or
any third party software out there to help. Thanks in
advance any help is appreciated.

You can copy profiles from System Properties (Controll Panel -> System
Properties), Advanced Tab. Click on Settings for User Profiles.
