User's Guide - Steps to take to get on the internet to include wireless

I'm curious if anyone here has ever ran across a website, an FAQ or
whatever, that outlines the typical steps to get on the internet, and
maybe one that takes wireless into consideration.

I have to produce a users guide, and I'd like to not have to re-invent
the wheel, so I was wondering if anyone has seen such an animal
before.

After I compile it, I'd be glad to share it with anyone interested.
Mine will include screen shots and use the basic tools included with
the OS, Windows Zero Config for wireless, ipconfig and ipconfig /all
to determine IP LAN and WLAN IPs, etc

Have you tried googling for Home Networking?

Yeah, I saw very few that were more than how to hook up to a certain
ISP for beginners. These are somewhat smarter people, yet not
'computer' literate as others. Mostly the CPA crowd...

Like I may not have said, I'm just looking for a format type, a way to
put it on paper, so that it's easy to read, simple enough to
follow... I'm not looking for someone to do it for me, it's already
been done, by someone, somewhere. I'm just asking the community of
people that spend more time on the internet than I do, so pass along
their knowledge of some sites...

Thanks.
