Users & Groups

Probably a pointless question, but I will post it anyway.
Regarding the Defragmenter, only users belonging to the
Administrator group can defragment a volume. Does anyone
know if there is a way to allow other groups to do this?
Say the Power Users group? I don't want my users to be
Administrators, but I do want them to be able to
defragment their own computers. I've messed with all the
security I can find, and so far, no luck. :(

Give the group the "Perform Volume Maintenance tasks"
right:

Open gpedit.msc
Expand Computer Configuration->Windows Settings->Security
Settings->Local Policies->User Rights Assignment, and
find the volume maint right on the right-hand side of the
pane.

I tried adding users and groups to the "Perform Volume
Maintenance Tasks" found in gpedit.msc, but it does not
work. The user still receives a message that they must
have Administrator privileges to defrag the volume.

Help!
