Hello

I have a problem with some users in my network (100+
users). They can't login the network even if they have
the right password. I have to go to there workstation and
login as an administrator and logout then the user can
login, and sometimes I have to remove the workstation for
the network and move it back to let the users login.

All the workstations are windows 2000 and I have 3 domain
controller one is in a remote site.

Regards,

Is there any pattern to the users that are affected by this ( either on he
user-side or on the computer-side )?

Is there any message that you are being given when attempting to logon as
those users? Do we have two different problems - or just one? Having to
remove the workstation from the domain and then add it back would indicate
that there is a problem with the secure channel between the workstation and
the DCs.

Do you have AD Sites and Services correctly set up with all of your subnets
properly set up with all of your subnets properly set up and associated with
the correct Site?

Let's start with that.

Cary
