one Running Metaframe XPe FR3 on W2K, with office apps published.

I noticed that when selecting "save as" that you can browse the hosting
terminal servers local drives.
I also published explorer, and can lock down this functionality with GPO's.
but it obviously uses a different shell to construct the directories in the
office save window.
I originally though i fixed this by using a policy file which has the
default file location enabled. Also folder redirection via GPO for my
documents.
However, you get around this by selecting favourites in the side bar of the
save as.

Anyone know how to fi this?

I assume that you have already applied the "Hide specific drives in
my computer" policy?

Even if you do so, it is still quite easy for users to see and
access the servers local drives (try what you can achieve from a
simple good-old command window).

Use NTFS permissions to protect your drives. "Hide drives" gives
only a cosmetic effect (security by obscurity).
