username and password

I have just set up my new computer useing your program and when I hit the
send/recieve button to get my email a box pops up asking for my correct
username and password. I guess I have no idea what it is because it wont
except anything I put in. How do I fix this???

Your email username and password are likely the same as your ISP username
and password.
If you don't know it you need to contact your ISP.

The user name and password it is asking you for is the one you log onto your
ISP. Check that you have followed the details here:

It would be helpful if you had included the complete error
message. One possibility is that you are trying to use a
mail account that does not have POP access. Only the
complete error message will give us the diagnostics we need.
