userinit.exe

I was just installing some updates via windows update, and
on the log on(as admin) it comes up with "userinit.exe
ordinal not found....The ordinal 175 could not be located
in the dynamic link library userenv.dll". It proceeds to
log on, but desktop/profile is not launched.

any suggestions?

Solution #1:

- perform a full reboot.



Solution #2:

- press 'ctrl+alt+del"

- start new task "explorer.exe"

- Desktop should appear now.
