hello iwanted to know how to find out how to detemine the problem that
uphcleanup finds,i get this,svchost.exe (860),hkcu (0x37c),i just wanted to
know how i can figure what that is,i really appreciate the help and
suggestions
i have win xp home edition sp2,intel celeron cpu 2.00ghz,2.02 ghz768mb of ram

Most like the DComLaunch service causes this. I've written to uphclean
support team but they have not responded. Here is how I found the service
name that's causing the problem.

Tasklist.exe is not available in Windows XP Home edition. Alternately, you
can use the PSTools from www.sysinternals.com to view processes.

hello, ramesh,i have contacted uphclean, asking them how to determine and fix
what uphcleaner finds, this is what they replied:Hello Ms. Ponce,

The events logged by UPHClean are informational in nature. Their intent is
to let you know that UPHClean has prevented a profile hive unload problem.
There is no need for follow up action since the problem was resolved by
UPHClean.

Best regards,

Robin Caron

Hi Robin,

We know that it is an informational message, and not an error. I'm still
wondering why the hive remains locked by DComLaunch service. Anyway thanks
for following up with this. Much appreciated!
