useraccount locked (not in domain)

I have been playing with the security settings to lock the account after 2
tries. Now not very clever: the first day the account is blocked even though
i only typed it once wrong. That doesn't matter but what is importent is that
i can't unlock it!

I have tried to start "lusrmgr.msc" and then unlock it as a administrator
but the unlock option is greyed by the useraccounts (only disable and change
or not greyed) so i cannot edit it. How can i solve it??
I don't want to use system recovery.

It would be great if someone know how to solve this.

Run gpedit.msc
Expand Computer Configuration > Windows Settings > Security Settings >
Account Policies > Account Lockout Policy >> Account Lockout Threshold
(reset to default = 0)

It is grayed out and it shows that it is locked? If that is the case then
make sure you are logged on as an administrator. You can use the command net
localgroup administrators to see what users are in the local administrators
group. If all fails you can use the password reset utility and I believe it
has an option to unlock locked accounts or you can try to copy the security
file from the \windows\repair folder to the \windows\system32\config folder
while booted into Recovery Console.
