User with delegated rights can not access mailbox

Wondering if anyone has come across this issue or similiar
Migration of exchange 2k users off one server to another - completed successfully, first server brought offline\taken out of container properly. But it seems that some delegated users profiles are still attempting to access the first server when it tries to view the delegated mailbox (not their own). Does anyone know what may be happening? All are outlook clients...non are mac clients nor access via owa. Any input would be much appreciated
