User unable to remove SP6 and needs SP5

reason behind this is that pc for somereason will not accept any version 6A service packs

Tried many times to make it boot with the blue screen to show that it is Service Pack 6a.

It never shows and just shows it as SP6.

I tried the hotfix and that did not work.

So can I install SP5 pver SP6????? is that possible?
then re apply SP6A???????????

I hope there is a fix for this.

I am not positive, but I don't believe the blue boot screen shows SP6a. I
believe that it just shows SP6, but it you have 6a, you have 6a.

Um I have over 500 computers here in this building and some show as 6a on boot

These are compaq, HP mixed environment

Hmm... I never saw 6a on the blue screen in Windows NT 4. Always said 6. Interesting.
