user switching causes runtime error

I wonder if anyone can help me. I posted message on the above subject
about this on Friday and I understand there was a reply - but I can only
access messages posted today. If anyone could locate and re-post the reply
I would be grateful. Many thanks.

Try disabling third-party add-ons in IE. One of which might be causing the

If you can't find a post, search for your name in Google Groups advanced
search in the microsoft.public.windowsxp.general newsgroup.

It looks like you are using Outlook Express. Download more headers.

I have it on good authority that "broglet said:

It turned out to be caused by McAfees' antiphishing browser helper object,
whatever that is! Disabling it solved the problem.
