User Start Menu Location

I found that I can right-click the START BUTTON and get access to all users
start menu. Where on a Vista C Drive is a users start menu folder located?

All of the normal XP locations dealing with a users profile are short-cuts
that deny access.

C:\Users\%UserProfile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start
Menu\Programs\

You can also access it from the Start button context menu by clicking
"Explore" (instead of Explore all users).

You need to run as administrator in order to change the all users Start
Menu, as a Standard user you can only make changes to your personal start
menu folder.

When you say "run as administrator", do you mean being logged in under a
user account that is a member of the Administrator's group? Or are speaking
of Vista's "super admin" that's new?

No, I'm not referring to the built in Administrator account. You should be
able to apply changes to files and folders in All Users when prompted for
admin confirmation (that is, if you have administrator privileges). It can
be done from a Standard User account as well, you just have to type in your
admin credentials when prompted for them.
