User profiles not saving

G

Graham

I have users using Windows 2000 and Windows XP on our Windows 2000 Server
network. The problem I have is that some users seem to be having problems
with there user profiles not saving some of there user settings. If a user
logs onto Windows 2000 in the morning and then logs into Windows XP in the
afternoon will the setting be affected, as I'm just wondering if this has
something to do with the problem I have.

Hi Graham,

First I'd like to confirm with you that the users are
domain users and the users are using roaming profile.

Roaming profile is downloaded to the local computer
when a user logs on and that is updated both locally
and on the server when the user logs off.

Are all users experiencing the same issue or only a
few users experiencing this issue? If it's the later,
I'd like to add the users to the local Administrators
or Users group to test the problem.

Sincerely,

William Wang
