using: Microsoft Windows XP Professional Service Pack 1

can someone advise me of an efficient method of transfering user data and
profiles after a server is installed and users log onto a domain instead of
the local computer?

is it posssible to share the local profile with the domain profile?

also, is there a way to store all user data in a single folder and prevent
creation of mutiple user profiles, like win 98?

sam29577,

Sorry guy, just went through this problem when we moved from a server to a
peer-to-peer system. The server profiles and local machines profiles are not
compatible. What you can do is copy the files from one profile to another so
you won't loose the data.
