Hi all,
I was wondering why it takes my computer takes such a long lime to shut
down, and restart. (3-5 minutes to shut down and about the same to Boot up
either from restart or cold boot)
My System
WinXP Pro
CPU - P4 3Gig
RAM - 1Gig
HD Maxtor 120Gig ATA133
HD Maxtor 160Gig SATA
Video ATI Radeon 9600 Pro
Audio SB Live
I found out that it could be because of my user profile. I am the only
person that uses this computer
When I looked into the System Properties (Right click My Computer\Advanced
tab\User Profiles Settings) I found there are 3 profiles:
ComputerName\Administrator 1.59GB
ComputerName\ASPNET 708KB
ComputerName\My Name 5.03MB
Questions
1) Is it normal to have all three profiles?
2) Why is the Administrator profile so large?
3) Is there anyway to change the content of this profile?
I also looked into the properties for drive C: (My Computer right click
drive c:\Properties\Quota tab)
Enable quota management was not enabled. I enabled it but that is as far as
I got. I am not sure what else to do after that.
When I clicked on the Quota Entries button on the Quota Tab another window
opened up and in it are 5 entries
Quota Entries for CHARLIE (C

4) Is it normal to have such high Amount Used values?
5) Is it possible to delete the Administrator profile and create a new one,
and if so what do I lose when I delete the administrator profile?
Thank you for your help
