Given the virus issue you probably won't want to copy any of the old stuff
else you may end up propagating the issues again.

| Hi,
|
| I have a number of users on our small network, and they have their own
| profiles, which are local to their computers. Unfortunately, the system we
| have has some problems, and we'll have to bring it down (hardware and
virus
| problems). What worries me, is, worse come to worse, we might have to
| reinstall the operating system and reconfigure active directory.
|
| I understand that will force me to add the users again to the directory,
| hence they'll have new profile. Can i just copy the profile to their new
one
| (in the System properties, Advanced tab, for XP), and it should work? Is
| there anything else I need to worry about?
|
| Will appreciate some advice,
|
| Thanks,
|
