I have just installed Windows XP Professional and Office
XP professional and am a having a few teething problems,
I wonder if anyone would help.

When sending a link by email from Internet Explorer I am
encountering two problems:

1. I am prompted to 'choose profile'. My only given
option is to select 'Outlook'. But when I try to select
this as my default profile, the default isn't remembered
so next time I try to email a link I get the same choose
profile prompt. It's driving me mad!

2. Once I have selected the 'profile' the email message
appears but with an incomplete subject line and the URL
is not displayed in the text of the message, only as an
attachment.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hi Rory,

How to set Outlook as default email client. Go to Start/Run and type in:

"c:\program files\microsoft office\office\outlook.exe" /checkclient

Then go to IE tools, internet options, programs and select Outlook as your
default email client.

Add Send Mail to IE context menu to include Subject and Link (not attached)
run the script on line 60:
