user/pasword logon recognized by FTP but not by FP2002

What could be a reason for FP2002 not to recognize the logon user
name/password while the FTP does recognize it? Any suggestions how to solve
it?

Because the login info was only set up by the host for the FTP server. FP
uses the http server if the FP extensions are installed which then allow you
work directly on the live site, if needed.
